The Past
The staff at Remote AV started on their technical career path at Edric Audio Visual, Edric first opened in Manchester in 1974. Over the next 35 years the company built up a reputation for quality and expertise, always maintaining a strong position at the forefront of the Audio Visual industry and leading the way as new technology was introduced.
Edric was a family run business until 2007 when the company was sold to Indeprod, a large communications group based in Buckinghamshire, this was an attempt to place Indeprod in the ever growing conference market.
Towards the end of 2008 due to the downturn in business for corporate communications agencies, Indeprod began having financial problems. Whilst Edric was continuing to grow, the Indeprod group was put into administration during January 2009, closing all the Edric branches.

The Present
After the Indeprod group was put into administration, the management and technical staff from Edric Manchester immediately formed Remote Audio Visual keeping the continuity for loyal and long term customers.
Just as Edric did, Remote AV will continue to provide all the key essentials for a successful conference, with a wealth of experience in organising exhibitions, award ceremonies, road shows and product launches we deliver exceptional results, every time.
The Future
Remote AV are committed to updating their ever growing equipment portfolio with the latest products from some of the biggest brands, making sure all our clients are continuing to be supplied with the latest technology available.
